The Information System we
researched was inventory management software also known as “IMS”. This is a
software system for tracking inventory levels, orders, sales and deliveries.
This helps avoid product overstock and outages. This is a tool for organizing
inventory data that before was generally stored in hard-copy form or in spreadsheets.
It can also be used in the manufacturing industry to create a work order, bill
of materials and other production-related documents.
The second Information
System used is Customer Relationship Management also known as “CRM”. This looks
at data about current and future customers to help a company understand the
customer better in hopes of retaining and building customer relationships. CRM
streamlines the whole sales cycle, which brings about bringing bargains in your
deals to a sales pipeline and aiding everybody in the sales team reach their
targets quicker. Since order processing and planning cites is automated in CRM,
